POST TRAVEL UPDATE & VLOG

Hello everyone!

We've been back in Rostov for eight days now. Traveling is fun, but the bitter sides of it is the packing and unpacking. Normally I am a very organized person, I like and need everything to be in place in order for me to function. I usually unpack our bags within a day after arrival, but now I must admit I have been LAZY! I've had no motivation whatsoever. I did unpack our clothing from our bags, but simply placed them in other bags that I use to carry stuff upstairs. Wow! How productive of me! :D

On Wednesday, the club arranged a quiz night at the London Pub. It was a fun event and evening, although I really didn't get the chance to participate, because of the lack of my Russian language. I was able to answer and help our team out with three questions. Hip hooray!

On Sunday, we went to the arena to see the derby game against Krasnodar. Adriana got to walk her daddy out to the field. She was so honoured and excited to do so! These are memories we will keep close to our heart forever! Roman received the best player of the match after the game and the following day he received player of the month ''April'' voted by the fans of Rostov. Thank you all for that!

The weather has been amazing the past days. It's been full-blown summer here in Rostov since yesterday, +28 C and sunny. I literally feel like we have been living outside for the past two days. Yesterday we spent a total of 6 hours on the yard and the kids slept like angels all night. Maybe I haven't gotten anything done because, after spending an intensive week (mostly indoors) in Moscow, it has been so nice to be outside with the kids and just relax. At the end of the day, there's no point in missing out on ''living in the moment'' for something that can wait, like unpacking and organising. I am sitting in the sun while writing this and I couldn't be happier! I enjoy watching the kids play and run around in their bathing suits. Summer I LOVE you!
